Description
THUNDERPROOF 300 is a two component specially developed solvent less synthetic polymer based compound which dries even in presence of water. It forms an impermeable tough film which is absolutely waterproof and highly resistant. It is a wonder product which gives relief from water leakage during rain and snow. THUNDERPROOF 300 is a quick setting repair product especially designed for EMERGENCY REPAIR during monsoon and underwater circumstances

Application Methodology
Surface Preparation
Surface preparation is of great importance and will affect the degree of adhesion and performance of the coating.
- The surface should be sound and free from loose particles, fungus, moss, oils and greases.
- Clean the surface by wire brush, remove loose particles. Wipe out oils and greases by solvent if present.
Sealing of Cracks
Cracks above 2 mm to be filled by making ‘THUNDERPROOF 300 putty’.
Prepare ‘THUNDERPROOF putty‘ by mixing 2 kg of THUNDERPROOF 300 with 0.75 kg of white Portland cement. After filling the cracks, wait for curing for 1 hour, then apply THUNDERPROOF 300 coating.
Mixing
Pour Part II liquid into Part I container and mix using a spatula till a homogeneous mix is achieved using a stirrer attached to a slow-speed electric drill motor. Allow it to mature for 5 minutes before application.
Application – Brush Coat
THUNDERPROOF 300 should be applied by brush – maximum 2 coats.
To get best performance, apply second coat only if necessary at an interval of 2–3 hours.
We recommend a TECHOTHANE PU / TECHOTHANE 550 coat immediately after the rainy season to enhance the performance and durability.
Chemical Resistance
Resistant to water, rainwater, saltwater, dilute acids, alkalis, soap solutions, and solvents.
Health & Safety
- THUNDERPROOF 300 is an instant leak repair waterproofing coat. It stops leakages immediately of all substrates regardless of the weather conditions. As the product has limited resistance to weathering conditions,
- As product is not UV resistant, it is recommended to apply a top coat of PU / Polyurea for added product warranty.
- Some people are sensitive to resins, hardeners and solvents and its vapours so it is advisable to use hand gloves and goggles.
Storage and Shelf Life
- Best before 12 months from the date of manufacture, when stored in cool and dry place at original, unopened condition.
