Description
Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP is a ready-to-use modified SBR latex bonding agent used for repairing spalled concrete in floors, beams, columns, slabs, and chhajjas. It provides strong bonding between old and new concrete and plaster, making it ideal for waterproofing toilets, bathrooms, and small terraces. The product reduces shrinkage, prevents cracking and dusting, and improves abrasion resistance for durable and long-lasting repairs.

Application Methodology
SURFACE PREPARATION
- Clean the surface with wire brush or scrubber to remove hidden dirt, loose particles, laitance & dust. Degrease the surface using suitable solvents.
- Repair the spalled concrete portion by saw-cutting the extreme edges of the repair location to a depth of at least 10 mm to avoid featheredging & to provide strong bond.
- Clean the concrete surface to remove any contamination. Roughen the surface by light scrabbling or grit blasting.
- For priming, saturate surface with potable water and remove excess water before application.
WATERPROOFING COATING
Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: Cement in 1:1.5 by volume.
- Mix 2–3 minutes to avoid air entrapment. Slowly add cement to Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP until desired consistency.
- Brush apply 2 coats within 4–6 hours.
- Overlay with a protective screed of desired slope and thickness.
BONDING PRIMER
Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: Cement in 1:1 by volume.
- Brush apply 1 continuous coat on prepared concrete substrate.
- Overlay the repair mortar while bond coat is still tacky.
REPAIR MORTARS & RENDERS
- Mix Design – Cement: 50 kg, Washed Sand: 150 kg, Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: 6–7.5 kg, Water: 10 Litres.
FLOOR SCREEDS & PCC
- Mix Design – Cement: 50 kg, Washed Sand: 75 kg, 6mm Aggregate: 75 kg, Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: 6–7.5 kg, Water: 10 Litres.
MIXING & APPLICATION
- Use a forced action pan mixer for best results at 400–500 rpm.
- Hand mixing is allowed only for quantities less than 25 kg.
- Pre-mix dry materials; then add Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP mixed with water slowly and mix for another 2–3 minutes.

Health & Safety
- Cementitious mortars & slurries modified with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP when mixed or when become damp, may
release alkali which can be harmful to skin & eye - Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment during
application - In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of clean water and then cleanse with soap water
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice
Limitations :
- Recommended dosage to be followed to achieve desired results
- When working in hot temperature conditions, extra water may be added to the repair mortar to compensate for the evaporation loss & make the mortar workable
Storage and Shelf Life
- Best before 18 months from the date of manufacture, when stored in cool and dry place at original, unopened condition.
