Description
MARISEAL 250 is a liquid-applied elastic polyurethane membrane designed for long-lasting waterproofing protection. Formulated with pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resins, it delivers outstanding resistance to mechanical stress, chemicals, temperature variations, UV exposure, and harsh weather conditions.

Application Methodology
Surface Preparation
- Concrete surface must be clean, dry and free from contamination. Moisture content must not exceed 5%.
- New concrete should cure for at least 28 days. Remove old coatings, dirt, oil, and dust using a grinding machine. Do not wash with water.
Repair of Cracks and Joints
- Clean cracks and prime with MARISEAL® 710 Primer. Fill with MARIFLEX® PU 30.
- Apply a layer of MARISEAL® 250, place MARISEAL® Fabric over it, and saturate again with MARISEAL® 250.
- Clean and prepare expansion joints. Apply MARIFLEX® PU 30, then reinforce with MARISEAL® Fabric and MARISEAL® 250.
Priming
- Use suitable primers based on surface type: MARISEAL® 710, AQUA PRIMER, 750, 730, or TPO PRIMER. Allow curing as per instructions.
Waterproofing Membrane
- Slightly stir MARISEAL® 250, apply by brush, roller, or spray.
- Reinforce details like pipes or wall junctions with MARISEAL® Fabric soaked in MARISEAL® 250.
- Apply second layer after 12–18 hours; third layer for high-demand use.
- Ideal temperature: 5°C to 35°C. Add Mariseal® Katalysator for thicker coats or faster cure.
Finishing
- For UV and chalking resistance, apply MARISEAL® 400 Top-Coat.
- For abrasion resistance (parking, public decks), apply two coats of MARISEAL® 420 with silica sand.

Limitations
MARISEAL® 250 is not suitable for permanent water immersion.
Slight chalking or color alteration might appear at the surface, after prolonged UV exposure
Storage and Shelf Life
- Best before 12 months from the date of manufacture, when stored in cool and dry place at original, unopened condition.
